Here’s episode 12 with Surf Curse!

Surf Curse is a two piece band formed in Reno NV consisting of drummer / singer Nick Rattigan and guitarist / singer / Jacob Rubeck. They used to live in Reno, but now they live in Los Angeles. Holland Project says “…they play catchy and incredible surf punk tunez”.

Jacob and Nick have produced solo music projects that you can find on their Bandcamp pages Current Joys and Casino Hearts.

We talked before their show at the Holland Project in Reno on September 9th 2016 about how they first started playing music in Las Vegas to recording their albums at a friends house in Hollywood. Supporting their show at Holland, local Reno artists Applied Ethics and Heartsleeve.

Surf Curse will be performing at the Beach Goth music festival in LA presented by The Growlers happening October 22nd – October 23rd 2016.
